I began gaining weight steadily from the time I was around 10 years old. It continued heavily (no pun intended) until my 20s.
It wasn’t until a random vacation to Orlando that I realized how much I detested how I looked and how I felt— weak. physically and mentally. I got home from that trip, stepped on the scale, and saw exactly how much work I had to do.
I lost some weight (keyword) it was a combination of fat, water, and muscle.
I still wasn’t happy with how I looked
Feeling frustrated, I started seeking out services and people that could help me. I went to a party for a friend and coincidentally was introduced to a buddy of his that was a personal trainer.
I ended up starting a workout plan with him— after that I was hooked.
Things have not been easy, but they have most definitely been worth it. I am so thankful that I took that long hard look in the mirror and vowed to change myself.
Having a personal trainer of my own was invaluable!
I feel so blessed to be able to share that same excitement with all of my clients, and watch them all grow in the same ways that I did. Getting into fitness is about so much more than looking good. Its a true life altering decision.
